Located at the edge of Amsterdams famous red light district, Cafe the Queen’s Head is one of Amsterdams oldest gay bars and still going strong! We organise many special events in our bar, the most famous of them being our weekly bingo. During weekends you can have a cozy drink or dance the night away to the tunes of one of our resident DJ’s, who play their funky and catchy music from 22:00 untill 3:00 every friday and saturday. It is of course also possible to organise your own event at The Queen's Head! Contact us for all the possibilities we can provide to make your event unforgettable! Having been a down-to-earth gay hotspot for nearly two decades, Cafe the Queen’s Head continues to be a bar with a very diverse clientele. Some of our regular guests have been visiting the bar for years, but every day we also have tourists and newcomers enjoying the stunning view over the canals for the first time. While Cafe the Queen’s Head is a gay bar (not just gay friendly), we welcome guests of every gender, race, sexuality and age. Embracing diversity has been at the heart of the Amsterdam gay scene, and we are very happy and proud to see this diversity in our bar.
