On Thursday 24 April, Izo FitzRoy is coming to Rotterdam. Her music is influenced by the raw power of female blues legends like Janis Joplin, as well as the heartfelt lyricism of soul men like Bill Withers, blended with her own gospel roots.
We are happy to have Izo FitzRoy Thursday 24 April at BIRD, Rotterdam. After the success of her debut Izo FitzRoy was in demand and toured across Europe tirelessly, all the while writing her next record and lending her talents to others, including features on tracks by Kraak & Smaak, Smoove & Turrell and Lovebirds. Izo embarked on a sold out UK and European tour from April through to November. In October, Izo performed on ‘Later with Jools Holland’ alongside Sampha, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and Christone “KINGFISH” Ingram.
