The Shiva Hypothesis
(blackened death metal 2012-present from Twente, The Netherlands) combines black
metal aesthetics, occasional aggressive outpourings in the vein of 90’s death/thrash metal with
some strong atmospheric touches. Lyrically esoteric concepts of creation and destruction are
explored.

Maakt melodieuze Death-Metal. Zo staan o.a. de epische strijden tussen de mensen en de goden centraal. Deze thematiek wordt muzikaal aangekleed met snoeiharde riffs en rauwe, krachtige vocalen, begeleidt door melodisch samenspel der besnaarde instrumenten. Deze combinatie leidt tot een verfrissend doch herkenbaar geheel van metal.
De muziek uit zich in een diversiteit van snelle beukende nummers tot rustige melodieuze partituren.
Nephylim
Is a five-member melodic death metal band from ‘s-Hertogenbosch/Apeldoorn,
the Netherlands.
Inspired by bands as Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum and Be’lakor, Nephylim brings the people a unique
combination of aggressive death metal with progressive and atmospheric melodies, while small touches
of Doom and Black metal complete the formula.
